Balance is committed to providing continued development and life skills to a group of motivated students who represent a diversity of racial, ethnic and socio-economic groups in Madison County.

Interested nominees should:

• Demonstrate their potential for developing leadership skills and life skills

• Participants must live in or attend school in Madison County.

• Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and notifications will be made to participants and families.

• Commit to FULL PARTICIPATION AND ATTENDANCE in all Balance programs. Participants who fail to attend any sessions are at risk for not receiving their certificate of completion.

• Maintain satisfactory academic, attendance and citizenship records.

• Tuition will be due July 20, 2026. 

• Each applicant must request an adult to complete the Balance Reference Form. See the form below.
